Iron ore and steelmaking have been in the portfolio of PEK since its foundation and included geology, resource evaluation, mining, beneficiation and production of sinter feed, pellet feed, granulated and DSO (direct shipping ore). Our portfolio in Brazil included iron ore projects in the Minas Gerais, Bahia and Pará states. 

In the international scene we participated in several iron ore projects in Africa.
