Civil Tunnels

The construction of tunnels for civil aplications as roadway tunnels or water transport tunnels are in the portfolio of the company. PEK have been involved with tunnel design for water transport in the Sao Francisco project (one of the largest systems for water distribution in the world) from years 2008 to 2018. Tunnel route selection, geotechnical studies, basic and detailed engineering, construction methods, stabilization methods, instrumentation and assessment during construction are in the scope of the company. Several  tunnels for roadways are in the portfolio of the company including urban interferences.
